This adhesive thermometer can be stuck on any object or area for non-assisted temperature controls. The 5 points of the label change colour irreversibly when reaching the temperatures they are labelled with. As it makes a permanent-type change, they work as a temperature recorder, showing afterwards if a specific temperature has been reached or not.

IMPORTANT NOTE: S range requires special handling because of its low temperatures (29ºC – 34ºC). See the technical information.

These temperature labels are available in various ranges, each of them containing different temperatures:

  • Range S: 29ºC - 40ºC / (84-104ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 29 33 34 37 40ºC)
  • Range A: 37ºC - 46ºC / (99-115ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 37 40 42 44 46ºC)
  • Range B: 49ºC - 71ºC / (120-160ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 49 54 60 65 71ºC)
  • Range C: 77ºC - 99ºC / (171-210ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 77 82 88 93 99ºC)
  • Range D: 104ºC - 127ºC / (219-261ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 104 110 116 121 127ºC)
  • Range E: 132ºC - 154ºC / (270-309ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 132 138 143 149 154ºC)
  • Range F: 160ºC - 182ºC / (320-360ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 160 166 171 177 182ºC)
  • Range G: 188ºC - 210ºC / (370-410ºF) (Temperature points ºC: 188 193 199 204 210ºC)

Temperature indicators consisting of an adhesive base on which a temperature-sensitive material is printed, that, when reaching the temperature they have been calibrated at, changes colour irreversibly.

These labels are coated with transparent polyester for protection. Therefore, they are resistant to oil, grease and water. The temperature indicator can be stuck on any type of surface, curved surfaces included, due to their flexibility.

Accuracy of these indicators is <+/-1ºC> for temperature points up to 100ºC and <+/-1%> for temperature points above 100ºC

Temperature labels made according to ISO 9001 standard.

Components in this heat-sensitive label meet REACH Annex XVII European standards with regard to substances presenting a health or environmental hazard.

Uses of the 5-level irreversible thermometer

5-level temperature indicators offer a balance between the number of temperature points and the size, which is highly useful for all types of applications and sectors. These irreversible temperature labels are ideal for monitoring any process in which the thermal level reached needs to be ensured.

These thermometers have a general-purpose use and can be applied to all type of sectors. From the industrial to the  food sector, there are multiple applications achieving successful results with regard to the temperature control.

5-level irreversible thermometers are available in the temperature range of 29ºC. Suitable for       the control of the cold chain for certain medicines and fresh food. Likewise, in its higher range, with 290ºC temperature, this label can be applied to certain pieces subject to thermal treatments in the industrial sector.

Next, some of the examples of use of this temperature sensor are shown:
  • Industry
    • Oven temperature
    • Aluminium lacquering
    • Thermal treatment for mechanical parts
    • Manufacturing of photovoltaic modules
    • Manufacturing of cans for food
  • Food
    • Sterilisation of plastic containers
    • Glass sterilisation
    • Control of the deep-fryer temperature
    • Food sterilisation with heating processes
    • Boiling processes for jams and pâtés
  • Medical and pharmaceutical industry
    • Sterilisation of equipment
    • Temperature control in laboratory processes
