Self-adhesive thermometers made with LCD inks with encapsulated microcrystals changing colour on the basis of the temperature. They are a non-toxic mixture of liquid crystalline esters. The indicator is covered with a layer of transparent polyester.
The prolonged exposure of these labels to sunlight and UV radiation is forbidden. They must not be immersed in water or other liquids. Other labels in the range come with a special protection and therefore can be immersed in water or other liquids.
